Traditional Ribera del Duero wine.

Essence and authenticity. Traditional wine made with a selection of grapes from several plots on our estate. A wine with verve, bright and balanced. Outstanding structure and elegant strength in the mouth, typical of riverside wines.

  • Plot: Sourced from a selection of plots in Fuentecojo, Dehesilla, Picón, El Caño, Las Cuevas and El Otero (in years where vintage conditions aren’t good enough for Finca El Otero)

  • Variety: Tinta del País

  • Surface area: Depends on the year. In total the estate has 87 ha on which all wines produced by the winery are born.

  • Phenolic maturation in the Finca El Otero style.

  • Age of the vineyard: more than 30 years

  • Cold-soak pre-fermentation maceration to stimulate the aromas of the variety and intense colours. Gentler and more delicate maceration seeking to boost the aromatic notes.

  • Malolactic fermentation: similar to Finca El Otero.

  • Aging in barrels: 16 months / French oak barrels (new and variety of uses)

  • Traditional decantations: 3

  • Available formats: 75cl and 150cl Bordeaux bottles

  • Gastronomy: Recommended with appetizers, vegetables and rice dishes. Poultry and feathered game. Fish stews. Cured cheeses. Roast lamb and baby lamb.
