New contemporary Ribera del Duero style

A sophisticated coupage coming from different plots within our estate, mainly El Espino. A contemporary Ribera, combining vigour and elegance, strength and delicacy, terroir and distinction. Graceful, courteous and charming. Modern and vibrant. 



  • Plot: Sourced from a selection of plots at the Áster estate, including El Espino.

  • Variety: Tinta del País

  • Surface area: Depends on the year. In total the estate has 87 ha on which all wines produced by the winery are born. 

  • Maturation highlighting the freshness, bright colours, aromas and black fruits as well as the expression of the variety in this region.

  • Age of the vineyard: 30 years.

  • Production method: Cold-soak pre-fermentation maceration to stimulate the aromas of the variety and intense colours. Gentler and more delicate maceration to enhance the aromatic notes. 

  • Malolactic Fermentation: 50% French oak malolactic fermentation for 2-3 years. 50% malolactic fermentation in tanks. 

  • Aging: 12 months / French oak barrels (numerous uses) 

  • Traditional decantations: 2

  • Available formats: Bordeaux bottle in 75cl and 150cl 

  • Gastronomy: Ideal for enjoying on its own, to serve as with aperitifs or to accompany dishes of pasta, rice, sushi, light meats and fish.
